Dayna holds a Master\u2019s Degree in Counselling Psychology, and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #11882). Every person who receives the \u2018RCC\u2019 counselling designation in British Columbia has met specific educational and training criteria required by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Furthermore, RCC members have not only met the academic, clinical competence and professional requirements, they have voluntarily committed themselves to practice counselling according to an ethical code of conduct and standards of practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dayna has extensive professional experience in providing counselling to adults, couples, teens and children. She is trained in a number of different therapeutic modalities including Client-Centered Therapy, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, Filial Therapy and Play Therapy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
